مقامات بانک مرکزی چین با افول دلار آمریکا نقش جهانی بیشتری را برای یوآن می‌بینند.
به گفته کارشناسان، یوآن به یک دارایی مورد اقبال سرمایه‌گذاران جهانی که به دنبال ثبات و بازده قطعی هستند، تبدیل شده است.
دو مقام بانک مرکزی چین گفته‌اند که در پی همه‌گیری بیماری کرونا، یوآن چین نقش بیشتری در تجارت و سرمایه‌گذاری جهانی خواهد داشت و از سوی دیگر انتظار می‌رود سلطه دلار آمریکا در سیستم پولی بین‌المللی کاهش یابد.
دینگ ژیجی Ding Zhijie، رئیس یک مرکز تحقیقاتی در اداره مدیریت ارز بانک مرکزی چین، گفته که یوآن به یک دارایی مورد علاقه برای سرمایه‌گذاران جهانی تبدیل شده است، زیرا اوراق قرضه دولتی با دلار، ین و یورو بازدهی کم یا حتی منفی دارند.
اوراق قرضه دولتی پنج‌ساله چین هنوز بازدهی سالانه بیش از 3 درصد دارند در حالی که اوراق بدهی دولت ایالات متحده با همان سررسید تنها 0.4 درصد بازدهی دارند و بازده اوراق قرضه آلمان نرخ منفی حدود 0.8 درصد است.
علاوه بر این، بهبود سریع اقتصادی چین پس از بحران ناشی از ویروس کرونا به یوآن کمک کرده است تا علی‌رغم تلاش بانک مرکزی در کاهش سرعت تقویت آن، به بالاترین ارزش دو سال اخیر در برابر دلار برسد.
پیام خوش‌بینانه دینگ نشان‌دهنده اعتماد به نفس تازه پکن است که یوآن نقش مهمی در صحنه بین‌المللی برای تضعیف غیرمستقیم دلار آمریکا خواهد داشت.
همچنین ژو چنگ جون، Zhou Chengjun رئیس موسسه تحقیقات مالی بانک مرکزی چین هم گفت: سیستم پولی بین‌المللی که تاکنون تحت سلطه دلار آمریکا بوده، با افزایش نقش یوآن در تجارت جهانی در حال تغییرات اساسی است.
وی همچنین گفت که چین استفاده از ارز محلی را در معاملات تجاری و سرمایه‌گذاری آینده اولویت خواهد داد.
