به گزارش ساوت چاینا مورنینگ پست، شرکت چینی Hithium قصد دارد تولید در کارخانه تگزاس را از نیمه دوم امسال آغاز کند و حداقل ۲۰۰ نفر نیروی محلی استخدام نماید.
این شرکت در ماه مارس درخواست عرضه عمومی سهام خود را در بورس هنگکنگ ثبت کرد تا برای برنامههای توسعه خود تأمین مالی کند.
کارخانه ۱۰۰ میلیون دلاری Hithium در فورنی، تگزاس که مساحتی نزدیک به ۵۰۰ هزار فوت مربع را در بر میگیرد، ظرفیت تولید سالانه حدود ۱۰ گیگاواتساعت (GWh) خواهد داشت. بر اساس دفترچه اولیه عرضه سهام، این کارخانه حداقل ۱۰ درصد از ظرفیت تولید کل شرکت را تشکیل میدهد و Hithium قصد دارد ظرفیت تولید خود را تا سال ۲۰۲۶ به ۱۰۰GWh برساند؛ یعنی بیش از دو برابر ظرفیت ۲۰۲۴.
این شرکت به دنبال آن است تا سال ۲۰۲۸ نیمی از درآمد سالانه خود را از بازارهای خارج از چین کسب کند؛ این سهم در سال گذشته نزدیک به ۳۰ درصد بوده است. افزایش تولید انرژیهای تجدیدپذیر موجب افزایش تقاضا برای ذخیرهسازی انرژی در سراسر جهان شده و فرصت مناسبی برای شرکت فراهم کرده است.
اخیراً این شرکت با شرکت سرمایهگذاری خطرپذیر اسپانیایی GCRPV تفاهمنامهای مقدماتی برای تأسیس یک کارخانه ESS در اروپا امضا کرد. همچنین در اکتبر سال ۲۰۲۴، با یک شرکت عربستانی سرمایهگذاری مشترکی را برای احداث یک تأسیسات در این کشور خاورمیانهای آغاز کرد.
شرکتHithium در کنار سایر شرکتهای چینی تولیدکننده باتری، در حال گسترش حضور بینالمللی خود است تا از رقابت شدید داخلی و همچنین از تعرفههای سنگین وارداتی ایالات متحده در امان بماند.
در سال ۲۰۲۴ بازار جهانی ذخیرهسازی انرژی ۱۷۵.۴GWh ظرفیت نصبشده جدید داشته که بیش از ۹۰ درصد آن در چین، آمریکا و اروپا متمرکز بوده است. این بازار در سال جاری نیز در حال رشد است و انتظار میرود ظرفیت جدید نصبشده به ۲۲۲GWh برسد؛ معادل رشد ۲۶.۵ درصدی نسبت به سال قبل.
ایالات متحده که اصلیترین مقصد سرمایهگذاری در حوزه ذخیرهسازی انرژی است، انتظار دارد حداقل ۷۶GWh ظرفیت جدید طی یک دهه آینده اضافه کند. این رشد ناشی از مشوقهای دولتی است.
با وجود عملکرد قدرتمند این بخش، صنعت ذخیرهسازی باتری در آمریکا احتمالاً با چالشهای فزایندهای بهدلیل عوامل ژئوپلیتیکی از جمله تعرفههای واردات از چین روبهرو خواهد شد.
گرچه چین و آمریکا در اوایل ژوئن توافق کردند برای ۹۰ روز در خصوص تعرفهها آتشبس برقرار کنند، باتریهای ESS وارداتی از چین همچنان مشمول تعرفهای معادل ۴۰.۹ درصد هستند.
این تعرفهها موجب افزایش قیمت ذخیرهسازی انرژی در آمریکا خواهد شد و اجرای پروژهها در کوتاهمدت را تحت تأثیر قرار میدهد، زیرا ظرفیت تولید داخلی هنوز پاسخگوی تقاضا نیست.
با وجود تلاشهای آمریکا برای متنوعسازی زنجیره تأمین، ظرفیت تولید داخلی همچنان محدود است و این کشور همچنان به واردات از چین – بهویژه مواد معدنی حیاتی مانند لیتیم – وابسته خواهد بود.
شرکت Hithium که در سال ۲۰۱۹ در شهر شیامن توسط کارکنان پیشین شرکتCATL (بزرگترین سازنده باتری جهان) تأسیس شد، در سال ۲۰۲۴، پس ازCATL و شرکت خودروسازی بیوایدی بهعنوان سومین تولیدکننده بزرگ جهانی باتری ESS معرفی شد.
شرکتHithium در سال ۲۰۲۴، ۳۵.۱GWh باتری لیتیومیون مخصوص ESS صادر کرده که ۱۱ درصد از سهم بازار جهانی را شامل میشود.
