به گزارش ساوت چاینا مورنینگ پست، بیوایدی سال گذشته فعالیت خود در عربستان را آغاز کرد و در حال حاضر سه نمایشگاه در این کشور دارد، و میخواهد تا نیمه دوم سال ۲۰۲۶ هفت نمایشگاه دیگر را هم افتتاح کند.
این شرکت انتظار دارد که امسال بتواند بیش از ۵ هزار دستگاه خودرو در عربستان بفروشد که نسبت به کل فروشش قطرهای در دریاست، اما در بازاری که خودروهای بنزینی پرمصرف جادههایش را پر کردهاند و استقبال از خودروهای برقی چندان زیاد نبوده، عددی نسبتا قابل توجه به شمار میرود.
مدیر بازار عربستان در شرکت بیوایدی میگوید عربستان بازاری پیچیده است. باید سریع عمل کنیم و فکرهای بزرگی در سر داشته باشیم. هدف ما اکتفا کردن به فروش ۵ یا ۱۰ هزار خودرو در سال نیست.
دولت عربستان از طریق صندوق سرمایهگذاری عمومی خود (PIF) سرمایهگذاریهای سنگینی در صنعت خودروهای برقی داشته که بخشی از راهبرد جامعتر آن برای کاهش انتشار گازهای گلخانهای، کاهش واردات خودرو و تنوعبخشی به اقتصاد محلی است. این صندوق از شرکت خودروساز آمریکایی لوسید موتورز که مشغول احداث اولین کارخانه تولید خودرو در عربستان است، حمایت میکند. همچنین یک برند اختصاصی خودروهای برقی با نام سیر (Ceer) عرضه شده و سرمایهگذاری مشترکی برای ساخت ایستگاههای شارژ EV شکل گرفته است.
اما EVها هنوز کمی بیش از یک درصد کل فروش خودرو در عربستان را تشکیل میدهند و عواملی مانند هزینههای بالا، پراکندگی زیرساختهای شارژ و دمای بسیار بالای هوا مانع از استقبال گسترده مشتریان از این نوع خودروها بودهاند.
تسلا در ماه آوریل اولین نمایشگاه خود را در ریاض افتتاح کرد و به خودروسازانی مثل بیوایدی و جیلی پیوست که سعی دارند در بازار عربستان جای پایی برای خود بیابند. مدیر بازار عربستان بیوایدی این اقدام تسلا را مفید میداند و معتقد است که حضور این شرکت باعث جلب توجه مردم به سمت خودروهای برقی میشود. وی میافزاید که هرچه تسلا بیشتر برای بازاریابی تلاش کند، برای ما هم بهتر خواهد بود.
آمار فروش بیوایدی در ماههای اخیر به تسلا نزدیکتر شده است. این خودروساز چینی در ماه آوریل برای نخستین بار خودروهای تمام برقی بیشتری نسبت به تسلا در اروپا فروخت، و برخی از تحلیلگران پیشبینی میکنند که تا پایان امسال از لحاظ مجموع آمار فروش در بازارهای بینالمللی از تسلا پیشی بگیرد.
